Their slim profile is a key feature. These plates offer a solution when plate thickness limits the amount of weight you can load, especially on barbells with short sleeves such as the Colorado Short Bar.

Every size has two handles, including the unusually small 1.25 kg and 2.5 kg plates. Recesses above the handles make the plates easier to pick up from the floor.

The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating has a slightly grippy feel. Dirt and moisture wipe off easily for simple maintenance. The material is virtually odorless; any slight smell when unpacked fades over time.

The center hub contains a stainless steel ring, avoiding the peeling plating that can occur on conventional plates after repeated loading and unloading.
